We Thrive CollectiveHow we use AI

Ethical AI Standard

AI used on purpose, with clear parameters and a human in charge.

AI is part of how We Thrive Collective works. It should widen what people can do and who gets to do it, without replacing anyone’s judgment or exposing their private information. Here’s how we hold that line.

What we stand by

Eight principles we work by

These shape every tool, automation, and AI assistant we build, sell, recommend, or use.

  1. A human makes the call.

AI drafts, sorts, and suggests. People decide. Anything that touches a client, a hire, money, or someone’s health gets human eyes before it goes out.

  2. Access comes first.

Many people have been shut out of the standard ways of learning and working their whole lives. AI can open that door. We build for them on purpose.

  3. We’re honest about it.

Our privacy policy and terms explain how we use AI and which tools we use. We don’t fake reviews, testimonials, or people. We don’t clone anyone’s voice or face without their clear consent.

  4. Data and stories stay protected.

We share only what a tool needs to do the job. Client stories get used with permission, or not at all.

  5. Good tools push back.

If an idea isn’t the strongest one, a good tool should say so. We set up our tools to point out weak spots and uncertainty, and we check facts against real sources before anything gets published.

  6. No pressure, no manipulation.

AI should lighten someone’s load. We never use it to create false urgency, shame, or fear to close a sale.

  7. You stay in control.

We build systems you can run yourself, so you never have to depend on ours. We teach people to run their own tools, and we start with what’s free before anyone upgrades.

  8. AI has to earn its place.

AI has real costs, including energy use and bias in the data it learned from. We use it where it removes real work, not everywhere we could.

To be clear

What this is not

  • Not opting outAvoiding AI entirely doesn’t protect anyone. The job is to use it consciously.
  • Not a legal stampThis is our standard for how we work. It is not a compliance certification or legal advice.
  • Not finishedIt’s built to iterate. As our practices grow, this page will grow with them.

Tools need parameters, not fear.

AI isn’t going away, and pretending it will doesn’t help anyone. What helps is using it with clear limits, a person in charge, and the truth told about how it’s used.
